Unlike traditional insulation materials, spray foam expands to fill every crack, gap, and hard-to-reach corner, creating a seamless air barrier that helps prevent energy loss. This not only reduces your heating and cooling bills but also enhances indoor air quality by keeping out dust, allergens, and moisture. Whether you’re building a new home or upgrading an older one, spray foam insulation adds long-term value and comfort. Trust Precision Insulation & Coatings, one of the reliable spray foam insulation companies near you to get the job done right the first time.

Enhance your home’s performance with advanced insulation that maximizes energy retention. By minimizing heat loss and gain, it lowers your energy consumption, reduces utility bills, and contributes to a greener, more eco-friendly lifestyle.

Proves highly effective as an insulating material, offering a higher average R-value than other insulation types, resulting in lower utility bills by reducing heating and cooling costs. This also provides a more sustainable environment. It helps HVAC systems work more efficiently, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance.

Prevents water vapor from infiltrating the building envelope. This effectively reduces mold, mildew, and common allergens, contributing to a more pleasant living environment in your home. Spray foam forms an airtight seal that blocks moisture intrusion at the source. This not only protects structural integrity but also improves indoor air quality.

Aids in reducing noise transmission between rooms and from external sources, enhancing indoor comfort by minimizing disturbances such as traffic and neighbor noise. The dense structure of spray foam acts as a sound barrier, absorbing vibrations. Ideal for homes near busy roads or in multi-unit buildings where noise is a concern.

Offers thermal resistance by sealing gaps and cracks effectively, preventing air leakage. This ensures consistent indoor temperatures and lowers heating and cooling expenses. Maintains thermal performance throughout the year, regardless of outdoor conditions. This leads to fewer hot or cold spots and a more comfortable home environment overall.
Open-cell and closed-cell spray foam insulation serve different purposes based on their distinct properties. Open-cell spray foam is less dense, with cells that are not completely closed, giving it a spongy texture. It has a lower R-value, around 3.5 per inch, making it suitable for interior applications where soundproofing and air sealing are priorities. This type of foam expands significantly upon application, effectively filling gaps and creating an excellent air barrier while allowing moisture to pass through, which can be beneficial for walls needing to dry out.
In contrast, closed-cell spray foam is denser and more rigid due to its tightly packed cells. It boasts a higher R-value, typically around 6 to 7 per inch, providing superior insulation performance. Closed cell foam expands less upon application and acts as both an air and vapor barrier, making it ideal for exterior walls, roofs, and areas prone to moisture. Its rigidity also adds structural strength to buildings. While more expensive, closed-cell foam is perfect for environments requiring a high R-value in a thin layer and enhanced durability against moisture.

Our experienced spray foam insulation contractor near you will provide a thorough project briefing and then prepare the application site by improving ventilation. This initial consultation will help you understand the overall process better.

The insulation contractor will wear protective gear to prepare the site, followed by mixing and heating the spray foam insulation on-site as standard practice. The contractors are fully experienced in handling all the tasks with complete care and safety.

During the installation of spray foam insulation, the contractor may request that only workers wearing appropriate safety gear enter the site. This is because the workers know how to work with expert application.

Following the application, our team conducts a comprehensive review, rectifying any imperfections and making certain that what we promise is what we deliver. This post-application review is conducted to check whether the process is completed efficiently.

EXCELLENT Based on 52 reviews Posted on Google Julia Roberts McMahonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott was phenomenal to work with . Quick, clean, professional work and reasonably priced! I am so glad he was recommended to mePosted on Google Jennifer WhiteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I moved into a new construction home on November 1st. We were not part of the building process; it was a quick move. We realized shortly after moving in that the garage was not insulated. I made some contacts with various insulation companies and Scott Todd was the only one that got back with me and assured me he could get the job done in a couple weeks. Scott stuck to his promise and did a great job. What stands out in my mind the most was how polite, honest and hard working Scott is. I’d definitely recommend his service for your insulation needs.Posted on Google Andrew OswaldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott was great to work with! The came and insulated my shop's attic space and it's done a great job retaining heat!Posted on Google Max MorrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott and crew did an excellent job of insulating the attic above our garage. We are more than satisfied with his work, and would happily recommend him to others.Posted on Google Gregg GossTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I discovered Precision while scrolling through FB. I’m very happy that I did. Scott arrived at my home within hours- not days, to discuss our insulation project. He provided me with some thoughtful education and advice prior to my decision. In the end, they did a great job and I would gladly use Precision again and highly recommend.Posted on Google Tanner LynchTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very knowledgeable and seems really passionate about what he does.Posted on Google Mike HughesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We wanted our garage to maintain a decent temperature during the winters and realized our ceiling was not insulated and heat was escaping as it was onlydrywall screwed into the rafters. Scott, the owner over and gave us several options as how to make it hold the heat in the garage along withadding some more structural stability to the rafters. Here are the options he gave us 1. R49 blown fiberglass 2. Spay foam 2" closed cell foam 3.. Both 1 & 2 blown fiberglass over the cell foam What I really liked about these options is how he said Why don't we start with one and go with the closed cell foam first. Let's see how that works and if you're satisfied we won't need to do anything else. If it's still not holding the heat you want then could come back and put some blown-in fiberglass on top. So far the heater that's set in the garage is set at 50° and it runs 5 minutes every hour where it used to run 5 minutes every 15 minutes in an hour. Note: before we had the insulation installed We also installed green hinges on our garage doors that make our doors air tight because they're spring-loaded. I would highly recommend Scott and Precision insulation and heating if you're looking for an honest, responsive owner who won't oversell you and is reasonably priced and extremely professional. Here are a few pictures of before and after.Posted on Google Cory RiglerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott and his crew did an amazing job insulating our attic and the area above our garage using spray foam and blown-in fiberglass. We had plumbing above the garage that would slow down on extremely cold days, along with a few cold spots in the ceiling caused by gaps from poor original installation by the home builder. Since the work was done, those issues are completely resolved. The difference is noticeable, and we honestly wish we had done this sooner. I would highly recommend Scott and his company to anyone looking for high-quality insulation work.Posted on Google Kenneth KingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had Precision Insulation out to inspect my attic and evaluate temperature issues in my home. Their technician was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. He used thermal imaging to show exactly where heat loss was occurring and explained everything in a clear, straightforward way that actually made sense. What I appreciated most is that he didn’t try to upsell anything or push unnecessary work. His recommendations were practical and realistic for my situation, and the findings aligned perfectly with what I was experiencing in my home. It’s rare to find a contractor who takes the time to educate you, answers every question, and is genuinely focused on what’s best for the homeowner. Highly recommend Precision for insulation evaluations and honest expertise. I felt confident and informed after the inspection, which is exactly what you want when dealing with home performance issues.Posted on Google Brian SchwartzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott was superb on our project. He stayed on budget with high quality work. Appreciate his craft and communication with me through the process.
